See, there was this crazed, visionary French architect in the 18th century named
Claude-Nicolas Ledoux who designed many, many more buildings than he built. One of his
unbuilt designs was a "School of Education." 200 years on, here came Philip
Johnson who gave the University of Houston a slightly spiffed-up version of Ledoux's
rendering for its Gerald Hines School of Architecture.
