The Germans in Marburg took 150 years to build the "Elisabethkirche" some 800
years ago. The Episcopals at St. Martin's in Houston took 18 months to do their Xerox.
Two notes for trivia buffs:
1. Marburgers attended the dedication of St. Martin's and were as ga-ga as Germans ever
get over what the crazy Texans had done in a year and a half.
2. Guess whose home-church St. Martin's is. Hint: They live just a few blocks away. Second
hint: His first name is George and hers is Barbara.
