Douglas Milburn

1. To opened eyes the common ivy on my desk’s beauty infinitely exceeds any gem-hued Condé-Nast sea and beach and palms’ or Aspen cabin’s.

2. If Glenn Gould’s fingers had had eyes, imagine what pictures he’d have left us.

3. Through them we know the world comes in, but what, smart science, goes out those winsome windows?

4. 5. One day probably Neanderthal wandered into the cave at Lascaux and what, think you, saw he?
