    Faith of the sages, living still,
    In spite of dungeon, fire and sword;
    O how our hearts beat high with joy
    Whenever we hear your glorious words!

    Faith of the sages lights the way,
    the open door where none say nay.

    Faith of the sages, we will love
    both friend and foe in all our strife,
    to find and show the way you gave,
    by paradox and virtuous life.
