1. All I’m trying to do is share the point-of-view
from this pair of eyes. And how about you?

Just keep your strings in tune. The morning’s coming soon.

2. I know that I’m not right, but neither am I wrong.
There’s no such a thing as a right or a wrong song.

3. It sure does help a lot to hear you sing your song.
If you have to stop, I hope it’s not for long.

Just keep your strings in tune. The morning’s coming soon.

4. When we sing together, like we often do,
it sounds so fine to me, I often forget who’s who.

5. It really does get lonesome singing alone sometimes,
but even that’s O.K., especially since it rhymes.

6. I think the chances are good that the sun will finally rise
if we keep on singing and smiling with our eyes.

So keep your strings in tune. The morning’s coming soon.
