| What sort of link might it be? Who knows now at this
late date? We might find clues in the oldest books. Even there, we know those books were copied and re-copied by people who were in the very process of losing contact with the mind-body processes the clues referred to. It seems reasonable to expect that these people might have done a bit of editing along the way. Seemingly irrelevant statements could be easily removed and no one would miss them since they seemed to have to reference to human experience of the time. (The mangled and often contradictory words attributed to Jesus are the best example of this repeated editorial manipulation.) |
