Concealments, confused identities, lost children, ghosts, poltergeists, gods, demi-gods, insolent servants, stupid masters, monsters, maguses, trollops, rakes, horny clerics, shallow academics, innocents and guilties galore: all, all of the old machinery and stock figures are here, in Murdoch, updated now and then with UFO’s, alien presences, and whatnot. They are here not tritely but because they became "stock" for good reason: Such-like we shall always have with us.
