The names of many objects have more than one meaning. Above are 32 common objects. Below are all their names, lettered from "a" to "ff".

In this exercise you do two things.

1. Match each object with its name by writing the correct letter under the picture.
Example: write the letter "c" under the picture of the book.

2. Then look at the 18 sentences at the bottom of the page. Use your head or your dictionary to find different meanings for these names which will fit in the sentences.
Example: In Sentence No. 1, write the word "book" because there is a verb, "to book", which means "to make a reservation."
