We are pleased to announce that we have found the solution. More accurately: The Solution.

And about time it is, wouldn’t you say, after lo these 50,000 years of human searching.

Fortune has smiled and has placed in our waiting hands the answer to (there’s no way to put this modestly) all the world’s problems.

A correspondent was recently strolling the lovely streets of Bratislava (capital of Slovakia, the eastern half of what used to be known as "Czechoslovakia").

Rounding a corner, he was faced with the above admonitory street sign. Immediately aware of the significance of what he had found, he photographed it and sent us the picture.

Which we now share with a waiting world.

We urge all activist citizens everywhere to immediately pressure their respective governments to order this sign by the truckload from the Slovakian Ministry of Signs.

Not only will you be doing people in your own country an inestimable service, just think of the effect of your order on the struggling economy of Slovakia.

For those in, shall we say, your less intuitive countries, those whose citizens generally respond only to two-by-fours applied smartly to the noggin, we have had our in-house translator render the sign into English:

Can you imagine the beneficial GLOBAL effects if this sign is placed by the thousand in such trouble-prone cities as Washington, Beijing, London, Paris, and even, yes, Ulan Bator?

And what if—dare we even try to imagine—the sign were installed in the Oval Office of the White House itself???

Improbably, we have no desire to profit from this world-changing discovery. Please address all inquiries to either Slovakia or to the city of Bratislava. And feel free to use our suggested translation at no charge whatever if you think only English will do the trick.
