Separated

The Magellan's Log Guide to Understanding the Origins
of the Irrarional, Irresponsible Behavior of Our Leaders
We have devoted many pages of
this publication to 1) trying to figure out what's going on in Washington, and 2) failing
in that, satirizing the antics of our so-called leaders. Finally--and at the risk of
offending dog-lovers everywhere, we have, we believed, solved the problem.
If you study these people's
faces (and try for a moment to ignore their self-serving words and their extremely
dangerous actions), you can only conclude that they were litter-mates to a variety of
canines and somehow acquired the physical appearance of human beings. Yes, we are aware
that dogs don't lie, that they are trustworthy, and that they feel guilt when they do
something wrong--unlike our leaders.
Apparently, with these
people, what we're dealing with is some kind of weird combination of 1) the worst side of
dogs and 2) the worst side of human beings all mixed up in creatures who 1) walk like
people, 2) talk like people, but 3) like wholly spoiled pets seem to think the world is
their plaything to do with what they will without ever paying any personal price for their
utter arrogance.
